If you’re
looking to take the plunge, you can find rafting outfits all over the country.
Whether it’s for a few hours, a day or a week there are plenty of options, and
one of them is sure to suite your needs. Shorter runs are often close to urban
centers and take only a few hours. If you’re visiting the Rockies there are a
number of outfits that will take you out to enjoy the whitewater and some of the
most beautiful scenery in the world

Many of the resort companies (but not all) cater to the wilder set
in their early something’s where you’ll find that “party” is the
operative word. Their facilities include bars, restaurants, pools,
patios, volley ball courts and at least one even has a bungee
jumping platform. Often you have your choice between small chalet
like cabins with basic amenities or campsites to pitch your tent.
Showers and other facilities are usually shared. Of course there are
family oriented outfits as well.
One of the trends in the industry today is to
provide a complete experience. Rather than arriving, getting briefed
and setting out, many companies have
resort like
facilities where you can make a weekend of it. This is a good option
if you have the time and want to do everything at a more leisurely
pace.

perhaps a little more comfortable as well and they usually
specialize in
